FAQ's

1. What is the ideal age group for shows?

The 30 minute shows are ideal for ages 3 and up. The 60 minute shows are ideal for ages 5 and up. 

 

2.What is the ideal group size for shows?

 With children under 5, the ideal group size is 15-20 children. With children 5 and up, the ideal group size is 40-50 children. However, Animal Tales can work with public audiences up to 200 individuals. For private shows, smaller groups allow for more individual interaction and learning opportunities for the children. 

 

3. Where should I have the show for a party? 

Many clients choose their private residence for shows.  Animal Tales can also present shows at Broward County Parks and local party venues. Ask about vendor requirements before booking a facility. 

 

4. When should I have the show start at my party?

Animal Tales recommends allowing your guests to be fashionably late to a party. Ideal show start times should be 30 or more minutes after the start of the party. Also consider avoiding feeding and nap times for younger party guests.

 

5. Does the show have to be indoors?

No. However any outdoor area MUST have a shaded space for the comfort and safety of the animals.  

 

6. How much space does the show require?

Animal Tales requires the use of a 4 ft x 4 ft floor space for the presenter and animals.

 

7. How far will Animal Tales travel?

Animal Tales typically serves the Tri-County area of South Florida. We have traveled south to the Keys and north to Orlando. However, additional transportation fees are charged based on mileage. 

 

8. Can the audience eat during the show?

Animal Tales discourages eating during our shows. Individuals in the audience that are eating, especially finger foods, will not be allowed to touch the animals for wellness and safety reasons.

 

9. Should I tip the performer?

Gratuities are not required, but appreciated. 

 

10. Can I take pictures during the show?

Yes, you can take pictures or video during the show. Presenters will do their best to create photo ops for a birthday child or special guest. However, presenters do not have adequate time to allow photo ops with every animal and every child at the show.
